multipe days of spotting befor my period

Hi everyone,
I have a question about spotting right before the start of my menstruation.
I spot (brown blood) for at least 2 to 4 days before my menstruation. (In those days with BBT stays high as well.)
I have read in the Period Repair Manual that this could be a lack of progesterone but when I had it checked 8 days after my ovulation my progesterone was high enough (estrogen was a bit too high). Iodine in my bloodwork was also okay.
In the same period I experience breast tension and soreness.
What could this be and how can I fix it? Extra info: I am TTC.
