I met with a functional medicine doctor recently who shared that taking metformin or inositol might worsen my HPV because of the nutrient depletion of methyl folate that goes along with it. She recommended taking DCI over myo inositol. I saw your recommendation of the ratio of DCI to myo-inositol, but wondered how this is relevant to HPV? And if you believe there is supported evidence for the relationship between methyl folate depletion, HPV, and inositol?
