Lara has been a naturopathic doctor for almost thirty years. In addition to her work with patients, which she loves, she writes extensively about natural health. She the author of the popular blog, The Period Revolutionary, as well as the books Period Repair Manual, Hormone Repair Manual, and Metabolism Repair for Women.
Lara first worked as a researcher and evolutionary biologist at the University of Calgary. She then went on to qualify as a naturopathic doctor from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1997 and practice as a naturopathic doctor in Alberta, Canada.
In 2001, she moved to Sydney, Australia.
Lara’s love of science and the natural world has informed the way she works with patients. She views the body as a logical, responsive system that knows what to do when given the right support.
Appointments with Lara
Lara sees patients face-to-face in Christchurch, New Zealand, but is not currently accepting new patients. She also attends her Sydney rooms about twice per year.
