Grains and Autoimmune Disease?

Post by carrief »

I am curious if Dr. Briden or anyone has experience with patients eating grains who have a history of autoimmune disease? I see a lot of cautions given around even eating gluten-free grains like gluten-free oats or even buckwheat.

Does anyone have experience or advice as to whether someone with a history of autoimmune thyroid disease can eat gluten-free grains without further worsening autoimmunity or inflammation?

Thank you!!!
