Low libido

Hi, I'm 43yo, had hysterectomy keeping ovaries this time last year due to adenomyosis and endometriosis. I have very very low libido, am able to climax no problem but just have very little interest in pursuing or instigating sex and often just can't be bothered with it. Have not always been like thi...

Re: Recurring BV

I am perimenopausal, 42yo. Since hysterectomy have started to track cycles with basal temp but in early stages and not sure I'm getting it right as temps seemed to have fluctuated a bit in current cycle. Suffer from PMS moods (often feeling like a psycho) and migraine (take migraine preventer, but s...

Recurring BV

Are there any solutions for/ways to avoid recurring BV? This is generally followed by a bout of thrush post-antibiotics. I had hoped that it might alleviate after my hysterectomy for adenomyosis/endo, but this is not the case. Is there a relationship between the two? Is there anyway to avoid BV othe...

Endometriosis post surgery

Hi, I had a hysterectomy in Dec last year and was found to have stage 4 deep infiltrating endo and adenomyosis. Endo was found in ovary, uterus and bowel/rectum. The surgeon said he removed all ovarian endo and 95% of lesion from my rectum. I am eating DF and GF to avoid flare up of remaining lesion...

Re: Post-hysterectomy cycle tracking

Hi Paola, The only thing I have found since reading this was in the Period Repair Manual on page 276 it has a special topic about tracking your 'virtual period'. It says we will "still go through pre menstrual phase of feeling a bit irritable and headachy. You will then reach a relief day, whic...

Endometriosis - 5 natural treatments that work

I am interested in knowing whether these treatments, especially the A1 dairy and gluten free diet are important post hysterectomy with ovaries kept? Thanks

Post-hysterectomy cycle tracking

Hi Are there any simple ways to track your cycle post hysterectomy (with ovaries)? Or any apps available? I had hysterectomy in December as had stage 4 endo and adenomyosis and haven't been able to figure out where I am in my cycle since - I know when my period was due, but it doesn't seem to stack ...
