Low Testosterone
What could be the cause of consistently extremely low testosterone in a woman in her early 30's? I am ovulating monthly although I suspect my progesterone could still be a little stronger (I had mid luteal confirmation blood tests). Is low testosterone an adrenal problem?

Brown spotting before period
I know brown/dark spotting before the period starts is common and represents old endometrial lining coming out, but does it occur in an optimal, healthy cycle? My periods have been improving in terms of pain as I've made various health changes thanks to the Period Repair Manual, but I am now getting...

Grapefruit Seed Extract
I remember reading in either the book, blog or IG comment Lara say she no longer recommends use of grapefruit seed extract. Does anyone remember why this is? I can't find the original comment anymore.

Please do! That would be so helpful. I didn't realize you don't recommend urinary hormone testing.

Luteal phase fatigue
Does anyone suffer from crushing fatigue in the luteal phase that resolves once menstruation begins? I feel good until a couple days after ovulation. It seems very much like as my progesterone rises, so does my fatigue. Not just drowsiness/sleepiness, but being completely devoid of energy all day. D...

Progesterone & 90 minute cycle fluctuations
Hi! I have read from Dr. Briden that progesterone fluctuates in 90 minute cycles. I was wondering if progesterone blood tests (always mid-luteal, 5-7 days before next period) can really show an accurate picture of overall progesterone levels due to this? Or does the progesterone result only have val...

Re: 2:1 LH:FSH ratio, but probable PCOS misdiagnosis
Hi Lara, thank you so very much for your response. The second LH/FSH test was also done sometime during my luteal phase. Do you think it's likely my PCOS diagnosis was a misdiagnosis, considering the 5.2LH to 7FSH (during first few days of my period), even though the Provera seemed to induce a bleed...

2:1 LH:FSH ratio, but probable PCOS misdiagnosis
I will include a long history below, but my main question is...can it be normal to have the "PCOS presentation" of 2:1 LH:FSH but *not* have PCOS? Why would I have this ratio if I am ovulating regularly (confirmed with blood progesterone) if not PCOS? And also can PCOS be an HA misdiagnosi...
