Hi!
I'm 43 and although taking no hormonal pills I'm taking an antidepressant in the past 4 years (escitalopram) due to a burn out situation. I'm feeling better with this treatment but my libido is getting lower (now, near to zero) and I'm getting frustrated everytime my husband wants to be more intimately with me and I have no sexual response to give him in return.
Do you know if there's any relationship with this antidepressant and the lower libido?
May this low-libido situation may be related with my hormona age and the antidepressant only exacerbates it?
There is any supplement/pill that I can take to get up my libido, in a short or long term period?
Thanks a lot!

Low libido and sexual dysfunction is a well-known side effect of SSRIs.
