Utrogestan

I am 47. I currently have the hormonal IUD (for heavy periods) and amitripyline 10mg @ night (for sleep).
After reading your book I have discovered the benefits of utrogestan and that progesterone is safer than progestin.
Should I have my IUD removed, also stop amitripyline and replace with utrogestan? Thanks

Sorry, I know I'm very late with this response. It is possible to take utrogestan together with the IUD and amitripyline. But, of course, check with your doctor.
