My doctor diagnosed me with PCOS based on an ultrasound showing a string of cysts like a string of pearls. I have oily, acne prone skin and thinning hair and hard time losing weight (I am 32 yrs old), especially around the middle, no matter how much I exercise I stay bloated. Yet my lab work comes back very low for all testosterone and DHEA.
I don't even know if I have PCOS and now I'm being treated with spironolactin and inositol. Help!
Is this PCOS? poloycystic ovaries with clinical hyperandrogegism but NOT biochemical
