Is my progesterone bio-identical?

Post by Glick1983 »

My doctor prescribed me 100mg of progesterone. The bottle say "progesterone micro 100 mg" and the manufacturer is Aurobindo. Their website says "reference brand: prometrium" and "therapeutic class: progestin." This confuses me because I know Prometrium is safe, but "progestins" are not safe. Is that correct? Doc says it's natural, but I want to be 100% sure. Thanks in advance!

Yes, "progesterone micro 100 mg" is body-identical.
