Post-menopause use of B.I hormones

Hello!
Im a naturopath from Australia and have a quick question (or 2!!) regarding oestrogen and progesterone treatment after menopause.

Im wanting to check if Bio Identical hormones are still ok to be started after menopause (after 3 plus years or so) and, how long should a woman stay on these (especially for those that go through menopause before 50yrs)?

I am working from an Alzeihmers prevention status, and wonder, for the right client, if they could be on hormone therapy for a number of years (eg.10yrs or so) to reduce dementia progressing??
