Calcium D-Glucarate fast weight gain, hair loss

Hi Lara,

Two weeks ago I started an estrogen detox supplement - Estrovantage. It's main ingredients are calcium d-glucarate, indole 3-carbinol and DIM. I'm experiencing hair loss, and weight gain around belly, hips and thighs, can't fit into my jeans! I'm 48, Mirena IUD, stage 3 endo, high estrogen, fsh showing I'm not perimenopausal (my Mom went through menopause at 59).
Have you heard of this reaction? My NP has not. Is Calcium D-Glucarate different from DIM? In your book you don't suggest DIM and wondering if I should try a single ingredient supplement. I've tried prometrium, worked well for me a few years ago (pre IUD) then I couldn't tolerate it, anxiety and insomnia. Have since tried to explore different doses and creams but same reaction. IUD is well tolerated. Trying to find a way to get estrogen down.
