Advice with Menstrual Cycle Symptoms

Post by Iamlight2024 »

Dear Lara,

I would appreciate your help in understanding some recurring issues with my menstrual cycle. Starting three to four days before my period, I experience significant fatigue, difficulty focusing, and a sense of inertia that makes it hard to complete tasks. I also notice substantial water retention, with my stomach becoming quite distended, and my legs feeling heavy, especially as I approach the start of my period. There’s often a pronounced feeling of exhaustion during these days.

Previously, I also experienced heightened anxiety before my period. This has reduced significantly since I started taking supplements like Taurine and Future Biotics PMS Harmony, but other symptoms persist.

On the second day of my period, I begin to feel substantial relief. My stomach starts to feel flatter, I lose some of the retained weight, and my energy and clarity improve considerably. By the time my period ends (it typically lasts between five to seven days, with the second day being the heaviest), I feel my best, with mental clarity, energy, and focus at their peak. This state generally continues for a few days after my period.

However, about a week after my period ends, I notice a gradual return of the fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and other premenstrual symptoms. I would love to know if there’s a way to retain that "peak" feeling of clarity and energy I experience around days two to three of my period throughout the entire month, to maintain consistent productivity and well-being.

Here are the main ingredients in FutureBiotics PMS Harmony: BioResponse DIM, Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D, and Chasteberry extract.

Thank you very much for your guidance, and I look forward to any insights you can provide.

Warm regards,

A
