Iodine for heavy periods/breast health

Dear lara,

I read your book and found it really great. I am especially interested in the "iod" topic.. Causi I had bad experiences with alternative medicine in the past now I kind of triple check everything before I would consume it. Now I found a lot of studies about the Iodine deficite/breast cancer association as you present it, but one study kind of made me hesitant to supplement with it claiming theres a contrary link between the two, maybe you can say sth about this study?

also I do life in Germany and there are no Iodine supplements to buy, only such that contain a mix of Iodid and Iodine. Some articles also claimed that I2 wouldnt be possible to preserve longer in a medicine due to its volatile character so they recommend this mixed supplement
