Years into Perimenopause, been a fun ride so far!
Most recent 2 cycles have been about 25 days long. Bleed starts with about a 1/2 a day of full flow (bright red - sorry for TMI!) and then stops completely & restarts 24-48hrs later and lasts approx 4 days w/ a bit of lighter spotting at end for 2 more days. Bad cramps and heavy flow which is new for me. Accompanied by nighttime migraines which I've had for over a year.
Any thoughts on why it would stop/start? And be heavy flow after years of relatively light flow? And if you have flow for a 1/2-full day before it stops & restarts again, is this considered spotting or something else?
Thnx!
Spotting (I think!)
